Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
These General Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through the website www.jamon-iberico.eu, managed by the owner identified in the Legal Notice accessible from the footer. For any enquiry or issue, you may write to: info @ jamon-iberico.eu.
2. Purpose
These conditions regulate the sale of products offered on the website, as well as the rights and obligations of both parties during the purchasing process.
3. Acceptance of the Terms
Placing an order implies full reading and acceptance of these conditions. The customer declares being of legal age and having the legal capacity to contract.
4. Ordering Process
- Selection of products and adding them to the cart.
- Providing shipping and billing information.
- Reviewing the order summary.
- Confirming the order and choosing the payment method.
After completing the order, the customer will receive an acknowledgement by email. The purchase is formalised once payment is confirmed.
5. Prices, Taxes and Invoicing
- Prices are shown in euros and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Shipping costs, if applicable, are shown before confirming the order.
- Intra-EU sales are made exclusively to final consumers (B2C) within the European Union.
- No B2B sales or VAT-exempt invoicing are provided.
- The electronic invoice will be issued after payment confirmation and order delivery.
6. Product Availability
Offers and availability depend on stock. In case of unexpected unavailability, the customer will be informed and offered an equivalent product, a new delivery time, or a full refund.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. Delivery times are approximate. More information can be found in the Shipping Conditions.
- No deliveries to PO boxes.
- The carrier may require a signature upon delivery.
- Any incident must be reported within a maximum of 24 hours.
* During the Christmas season, we recommend placing orders in advance due to high demand and potential delays in production and transport.
8. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, weight and/or order amount, and are shown before completing the purchase. Free-shipping promotions, if any, will be displayed during checkout.
9. Payment Methods
- Bank transfer (order processed after payment confirmation).
- Credit/debit card.
- PayPal.
Some payments may require anti-fraud verification. We reserve the right to cancel unverifiable operations.
10. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
10.1. Right of Withdrawal (unopened products)
The customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Articles 102 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.
To exercise this right, the product must be returned:
- Unopened and sealed,
- Not manipulated,
- In perfect condition,
- With original packaging and accessories.
Important: Article 103.d) of the aforementioned Decree states that withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery, such as perishable food products.
Therefore, once the product is opened or started, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. This is a legal limitation, not a commercial one.
The customer must send the product at their own expense within the legal period. Once received and verified, the corresponding refund will be issued.
10.2. Returns of opened hams and shoulders (only for actual defects)
Returns of opened products will only be accepted if there is an objective defect such as:
- Abnormal smell or obvious alteration,
- Manufacturing defect,
- Alteration making the product unsuitable for consumption.
In such cases:
- Jamon-Iberico.eu will cover collection and return costs,
- Provided the product has not been consumed beyond 10% of its weight and retains labels, netting and identifying elements.
The piece will be evaluated by the producer. If the defect is confirmed, the customer may choose between replacement or refund.
No returns will be accepted for subjective reasons such as salt level, curing point, marbling, hardness or appearance.
10.3. Returns of sliced products
Sliced packs may only be returned if all packets are unopened, unmanipulated and in perfect condition.
10.4. Return Costs
For voluntary returns (without defect), shipping and return costs are borne by the customer. These costs may be higher than the initial shipment as they may include:
- Full-risk insurance,
- Handling,
- Fuel surcharges,
- Specialised transport.
The customer may choose to send the product using their own transport.
10.5. Damaged or incorrect products
If the product arrives damaged or with a visible defect, it must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, attaching photos of packaging and contents.
10.6. Refund Times
The refund will be issued once the product has been verified at our facilities, or after evaluation by the producer.
10.7. Returns not accepted
- Opened products without real defect,
- Pieces consumed over 10%,
- Products without original packaging,
- Expired products within the withdrawal period,
- Personalised products.
10.8. Recommendation during high-demand periods
During the pre-Christmas season (November–January), delivery and logistics times may be affected. Express delivery for EU shipments may be requested on quotation.
11. Warranties
Products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable regulations. It does not cover natural wear, improper use or incorrect storage.

13. Liability
We shall not be held liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure or causes beyond our control.
14. Intellectual Property
The contents of the site are protected by intellectual-property laws. Reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.
15. Data Protection
Data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
16. Modification of the Conditions
These conditions may be updated as necessary. New versions apply upon publication.
17. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. In case of dispute, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence shall be competent.
18. Partial Invalidity
If any clause is found to be invalid, this will not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
