Shipping and Delivery Conditions at Jamon-Iberico.eu

At Jamon-Iberico.eu, all shipments are handled through a transport agency (see Delivery Conditions). Your order is shipped protected and insured against damage or loss, which means that in the event of any incident it will be replaced at no additional cost. If the customer detects any damage to the package, it is advisable to note this on the delivery slip at the moment of reception.

Once your order is dispatched, the customer receives the tracking number by email. From that moment on, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the shipment status and follow the carrier’s instructions. In case of absence at the delivery address, the agency may reschedule the delivery or drop the package at a nearby pickup point. It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the package from that point or arrange a new delivery according to the transport company’s instructions.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when adding products to the cart, based on the destination and total weight of the order. Rates are unified for mainland Spain and Portugal. A supplement will apply for the Balearic Islands. Likewise, shipping costs to EU member countries will be calculated in the cart according to the destination country.

Delivery Time

The delivery time indicated for each product is approximate. In the event of a delay due to out-of-stock items, the customer will be informed of the updated timeframe. The calculation of business days starts from the moment the order is placed or payment is confirmed. Delivery is considered completed when the carrier makes the order available to the customer, either at the delivery address or at a pickup point if delivery was not possible.

By default, all shipments are made using the carrier’s standard service without guaranteed delivery time. If the customer requires a guaranteed delivery timeframe, it can be optionally contracted by paying the corresponding difference.

If 7 business days have passed since the first delivery attempt, or since the package has been deposited at a pickup point, and delivery has not been completed for reasons unrelated to the carrier or Jamon-Iberico.eu, the package will be returned. In such cases, the customer must bear the costs incurred for the shipment and return, as well as any applicable handling fees. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the package upon receipt and to note any visible issues on the delivery slip.

Christmas Season Notice

During the period leading up to Christmas, delivery times may be affected due to the high volume of orders at the producers and the increased workload of transport agencies. This period runs from November until early January. Orders placed from mid-December may not arrive in time for Christmas. For shipments to EU member countries, we recommend contacting us if you wish to arrange express transport services.
